Thanks to all those who stopped by the Starbucks in the Green Firs Towne Center for conversation and coffee with U.P. cops as part of national Coffee with a Cop activities on Oct. 1.
Over the course of two hours, U.P.’s finest enjoyed serving up Starbuck’s samples while answering questions about public safety in U.P. and posing for photos with the people they serve. If you missed it, check out this short video that captures the morning’s energy and smiles.
“These casual outings give us an opportunity to hear what our U.P. neighbors are concerned about, which helps us respond more effectively,” said U.P. Police Chief Pat Burke. “That’s the basis of what creates a safe and inviting city.”
