Even prior to becoming a city, the University Place area has been an idyllic residential community for people to live, work, and play. The proximity to both the Puget Sound and the mountains, as well as the many outdoor activities available in City parks, paths and open spaces, has drawn thousands of people to University Place.
University Place is home to more than 31,500 people, many of them active and involved in the community. City residents are frequently lending a hand through volunteering and are eager to learn about what is going on in their home town. In fact, the involved citizenry made University Place to what it is today and continues to contribute to University Place being a safe and welcoming city.
Thank you, University Place residents, for staying involved and informed!
