Description:

The City of University Place solicits interest from Testing firms with expertise in said services. Consultants will be considered for the following project:

35th Street West Phase 1 Improvements

The project consists of construction of curbs, gutters, sidewalks, walls, bike lanes, storm drainage improvements, paving, landscaping, irrigation, traffic signal modifications and street lights on 35th Street West from Bridgeport Way West to 67th Avenue West. The work to be performed by CONSULTANT consists of testing and inspection services.

Submittals:

Submittals should include the following information: Firm name, phone and fax numbers; Name of Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager; Number of employees in each firm proposed to each project; and Estimated man hours and Hourly rates.

Firms qualified in testing and inspection services are encouraged to submit proposals.  

Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria:

1) Key personnel; 2) Firm experience with testing and inspection; 3) Firm experience with Federally Funded Transportation projects; 4) Ability to meet schedule; 5) Approach to project; 6) Past performance/references.

City of University Place encourages disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned consultant firms to respond.

Please submit FOUR copies of your Statement of Qualifications to: City of University Place Engineering Department, 3609 Market Place West, Suite 200, University Place, WA 98466, Attn: Jack Ecklund by October 19, 2023 not later than 4:00 PM. No submittals will be accepted after that date and time. 

Selection will be made based on written response.
