Possible Snow in the Forecast?

Snow plows lined up at the shop

Although forecasts vary, as we move into the winter months, it is safe to assume that we can expect snowy weather at some point.

If and when snow is predicted or does begin to blanket the roads, the City’s Public Works department will be ready with either liquid anti-icing agent or sand for our arterial and secondary arterial streets. If you don’t have to go out, residents are encouraged to stay off the streets so that plows and anti-ice trucks can operate without hinderance.

The crew will focus on arterial and secondary arterial streets in accordance with the priorities set in the Snow Route map.
