Highlighted Incidents

Incident: DUI/Arrest – Location: 4000 67th Ave W

Officers responded to a collision involving four vehicles. The driver of the at fault vehicle fled the scene on foot prior to the arrival of law enforcement. Officers were able to locate the driver. He was arrested and booked into the Pierce County Jail for DUI.

Incident: Warrant Arrest – Location: 6200 70th AC W

An officer was proactively patrolling the area around the Chambers Creek 2 Apartments when he recognized a resident with a felony warrant (Trafficking Stolen Property). The officer contacted the individual and placed him in custody without issue. The arrestee was booked into the Pierce County Jail.

Incident: Warrant Arrest – Location: 3800 Bridgeport Way W

Officers were proactively patrolling the Safeway parking lot when they located an individual with a felony warrant (Unlawful Poss. of a Stolen Vehicle, Attempting to Elude, Possessing Stolen Property, Identity Theft). The officers contacted the individual and placed him in custody without issue. The arrestee was booked into the Pierce County Jail.

Incident: Warrant Arrest – Location: 3800 Bridgeport Way W

An officer was patrolling the area around Safeway when he discovered a vehicle occupied by a suspect with warrants out of Pierce County and Tacoma (Theft 3rd). The occupant of the vehicle was arrested without issue and transported to the Pierce County Jail.

Incident: Shoplift/Warrant Arrest – Location: 63200 Bridgeport Wy W

Officers responded to a shoplift at Fred Meyer. Fred Meyer Security had contacted an individual who was concealing multiple items. The individual was uncooperative and refused to provide accurate information. Officers were able to identify the suspect and learned he had an active warrant out of Lakewood. The suspect was trespassed from Fred Meyer and transferred to Lakewood PD’s custody regarding the warrant.
