Code Enforcement

If you believe you have a code enforcement issue, such as junk vehicles, abandoned cars on private property or city right of way or other nuisance issues as defined in UPMC (University Place Municipal Code) 9.35, please use the map on this page to submit a request - or download the SeeClickFix app for your phone or tablet to use the map to submit requests on the go.

Barking dogs are not a code issue. Please see the Animal Control page for how to report this.

Report a Complaint

  1. Look at the map on the left side of your screen.
  2. Zoom in or out using the + and – buttons or your mouse wheel, or type in the address of the issue/concern
  3. Confirm the location 
  4. Select a request category that best fits your specific issue (you can scroll down to report other issues in the city such as potholes)
  5. Add a photo or click no photo
  6. Enter a brief description and follow any steps before confirming details
  7. Confirm and create an account (you will receive updates on the status of your issue online)

Please note the City does not accept anonymous complaints, any code complaint will be privately documented and only visible to you and City, however all emails, complaints and attachments sent to and from City of University Place are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public Records Act (RCW 42.56).
