Parks & Recreation Commission
What is the Parks and Recreation Commission?
The University Place Parks and Recreation Commission is a group of seven citizens that advise the City Council on various parks and recreation issues, including capital improvement projects, land acquisition, park development, and recreation programs. They actively support implementation of the adopted Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan and promote community outreach efforts , fundraising, volunteerism and special events.

Special Meetings, as necessary (Notice of Special Meetings will be posted a minimum of 24 hours in advance of meetings.)

Agendas for all Parks and Recreation Commission meetings are posted at the University Place Library, 3609 Market Place West, on the bulletin board outside City Hall and to the Event Calendar on the City's website.
