Wednesday, Aug. 21 - Little Bill – Rod Cook Duo: Singer and bass player "Little Bill" Engelhart is a Pacific Northwest musical legend. He began performing professionally in 1956, while a high school student in Tacoma, and in 1958 founded “Little Bill and the Bluenotes,” one of the area’s earliest important rock’n’roll bands. Their 1959 recording of a Little Bill original, “I Love an Angel,” made the Billboard national charts. Earlier this year Little Bill’s 80th birthday was celebrated with an all-star tribute concert in Seattle. For this Music in the Square performance he's teaming with guitar virtuoso and frequent collaborator Rod Cook.
