Committees, Commissions and Partners

The City appoints citizens to advisory boards, commissions, and committees and task forces which advise and make recommendations to the City Council and staff on certain decisions and policy matters.

Councilmembers, City staff and community members make up various commissions and committees within the City of University Place. Each year committee and commission members meet with the City Council to review the City's vision and develop strategies and work plans to achieve Council's objectives.
