Rental Fees - Facilities, Fields, Band Shell and Picnic Shelters

University Place Town Hall is in the heart of the City’s Town Center and sits adjacent to Homestead Park, which features an abundance of Azaleas, Rhododendrons, and a Fern Grotto. The natural woods and plants make a tranquil, picturesque setting for any occasion.
To reserve a date for your event, please contact the City to check availability, and then submit a completed application with all of the required fees.

The full amount of the rental fee and deposits are due at the time of application. Town Hall rentals require a refundable $250 damage deposit. An event where alcohol will be served requires an additional $150 deposit, a banquet permit, and a Certificate of Insurance, before any City facility may be rented. A Certificate of Insurance is also required when the renter is using a caterer.

Senior Center

The University Place Senior Community Center is a wonderful place for your next party, meeting or event. This beautifully remodeled building can hold up to 88 people and has a full commercial kitchen. Flat screen TV with computer hook-up, surround sound, speaker and microphone, back patio, chairs, and tables. No linens are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for use. Call our friendly staff to arrange a tour.

The full amount of the rental fee and deposits are due at the time of booking. All rentals require a refundable $200 damage deposit, due in full at the time of application. If alcohol is being served an additional $150 deposit is due, the total deposit of $350 is due at the time of application. A banquet permit is required for those groups serving alcohol. Picnic Shelters

Sunset Terrace Park -or- Cirque Park

Need a place for a kids' birthday party, family picnic or reunion with your friends? Check out Sunset Terrace Park & Cirque Park, their picnic shelters are the perfect location for your get-together. The shelters include three bar-b-ques, seven picnic tables (includes ADA tables), power & water, and sani-can. Cirque Park has a tot lot and Sunset Terrace has a playground for the kids to play. Shelters are reserved in 4 hour time slots. For more information contact the Parks & Recreation office at 253.460.2530.

Curran Apple Orchard

Curran Orchard Bandshell and Grass Area is a popular venue for weddings, concerts and family picnics. The Curran Apple Orchard is 7.33 acres of rolling hills that Mary & Charles Curran developed into an apple orchard in 1951. The Orchard contains 250 various apple trees.

Cirque Park Amenities: 27 Acres, baseball/softball field, soccer/football field, covered picnic shelter, tot lot, skateboard park, trails, sani-can. There is plenty of parking on site. Cirque Park is the perfect location for youth or adult tournaments. The softball field has lighting which makes it perfect for an evening practice or game.
