Chambers Bay Golf

The City of University Place is proud to be home to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, the place Australian Golf Digest deems "the hottest public course on the planet." Hosting the U.S. Amateur in 2010 and the U.S. Open in 2015, Chambers Bay provides bountiful recreation opportunities for the City's residents and renders University Place a regional, national and international tourist attraction, marking University Place on the map as a destination like no other.

Take the time to experience the beautiful Chambers Bay Golf Course, the Soundview and Grandview Trails, the North and Central Meadows, or the Chambers Bay Grill. Spectacular panoramic views of the Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountain Range and Mount Rainier await at Chambers Bay, the most scenic destination for recreation in Pierce County.
